on the one hand, this you gonna tell me these nurses in their 20s and 30s arent standing around snapchatting and shyt. gimme a fukkin break

ultimately though, id have to give all nurses the benefit of the doubt. talk about an awful fukking job

i wouldnt even want to watch them do their job through a fukkin tv screen

That’s like me picking a trade and hate being on my feet all day.

All I’m saying is if you a nurse you know what you signing up for.

I’m A Medical Laboratory Scientist...I just work rural so I have to draw blood, swabs, arterial blood gases and help when a patient codes.

If I had it my way, I wouldn’t even leave the lab for any reason. That’s how I know nurses and EMTs put up with a lot of bullshyt.

fukk what yall talkin bout. My moms had brain surgery years back and had to go into rehabilitation afterwards. She ended up having to get ANOTHER brain surgery because the nurses didnt take care of her properly and let her wound in her head get so infected. When we took her to another hospital they had to remove that piece of bone and replace it with a metal plate. They said one more day in that center and she wouldve died. From fukking negligence. Which caused a huge delay in her recovery. Some of yall nurses are good at what u do. My sister being one of em who’s great at what she does. But it’s WAY too many people in the medical field who dont give a fukk about people and are just there for a check. Especially here in NY.

Lowkey one of the best feelings ever is when a patient pull-up on you in the streets and thank you and the staff for saving their lives.

I had a guy one time walk up on me at a restaurant with my wife, I thought he wanted smoke because I almost hit somebody shyt in the parking lot.

But he said he remembered me from when we were taking care of his Mother after she coded and just wanted to thank me and everyone else at the hospital.

My gf is a nurse and I have an ex who is a nurse. I can't cosign this.

Nurse be working harder than the doctors out here.

In my experience most nurses are average kind of like every job. The ones that do slack off obviously have people's lives in their hands so it's more magnified. There are superstar nurses that go way above and beyond but that's like any other job. The best you can hope for is someone thats competent and wont fukk up your health even more.

It's always funny to me cuz you can tell the people who end up in the hospital / facility and want to be pampered.

We all know dam well when at home their family doesn't do shyt for them but then the whole family comes to the hospital all at once to act like their loved one is the Queen of England lol.

Facts.

I got this 1 annoying ass cousin that whenever my grandma/grandpa would be in the hospital. They would legit call everyone. And she gave out the number to the reception desk out to the people she told. People kept calling the nurses desk asking for my aunts. Legit flooding the phone lines and the nurses would have to play phone operator and transfer calls to the waiting room. So the nurse gave us the direct number to the waiting room so our family would stop calling their desk tying up their phone lines. This same cousin was either threatened to be kicked out or was kicked out for being rude to the staff, I can't remember exactly which one. This same cousin & her kids used to steal from my grandma all the time, drop her bad ass kids off, run her phone bill up,etc. But would be the loudest one and stay the longest at the hospital like she had something to prove to everyone.
