And didn't I say that with the post you quoted :what:
Nah, you actually didn't nikka, southern states are not a fukkin carbon copy of each other, nor are the towns in one southern state a carbon copy of each other, nikka my daddy was born in Mississippi in 195fukkin7 and he was bumpin Kurtis Blow in the 80s, its not the fact that he's from the south period like you alluded to, its the fact that he is from a small predominately white town that is seemingly completely void of any dominant African American culture, Michael Jordan is a good ole boy, Michael Jordans childhood friends are good ole boys, Michael Jordan's best friend as a child was a white boy, all you have to do is watch a doc on his life to acquire this knowledge, Michael Jordan is not from the hood, my pops who was born 1950s Mississippi who still listens to hip hop til this day is from the hood, be more specific nikka

NOBODY is saying that. Post where ANYBODY said that. I cam in here and stated that I find it funny that someone who's basketball career and clothing played such a big part in HIP HOP history, doesn't like the music. Go back and reread and relax. Nobody said all black people should listen to rap music.

I said that "people are acting like". I never stated it as fact. But some of the responses are people asking what MJ listens to and immediately go to Hall and Oates and Elton John (lol)...which is why I said it in the first place...we skipped over other genres.

YOU might not be saying that (I somewhat agree with your post on the first page) but others were at least insinuating it.

It doesn't change the fact that he's from the south in the 70's & 80's & the south wasn't playing hip hop like that from NY of all places in most regions. That's all the needs to be said. A good portion of Black men his age don't identify with hip hop (especially NY hip hop) because they can't identify with it.

I doubt it. Part of the reason why, as much as I respect him as a legend and the greatest NBA player of all time, I don't fvck with Mike. He couldn't care less about Black Americans and the fact that we are the biggest consumers of his clothing and sneakers.

What did you expect from mr.no nikkas :mjpls:

He only tolerates black folk when we buy his overrated jordans :mjlol: :mjpls:

Its well know that MJ doesnt fukk with black folks in the usa and has serious difficulty to relate to the average black dude, he is removed from the average life experiences of most black ppl.

He's a billionaire, plays golf with tom brady and other rich cacs, and will probably vote for trump next year.

I wont even be surprised if trump is actual buddies with MJ.

trump has more in common with MJ than with any old regular cac.

And that South sh!t doesn't really mean anything either.

1. Hip Hop is large in the South.

2. Hip Hop was large in the South when Mike was in his teens and early NBA days. Mike's not that old. I'm sure in college he was around dudes that did nothing but play hip hop.

Cats in here acting like Mike is some old ass 70 year old cat from Mississippi.

Again, I still know that that doesn't automatically should make him a rap fan, but I still find it funny.

Agreed, I mean Ice T, Snoop Dogg and Dr.Dre are only a few years older or around the same age as him. They are hiphop veterans and acclaimed legends. MJ is not a fan of the music, thats it thats all.

Here people go again, being mad at MJ like he's done something wrong.

LOL @ Rakim being the MJ of rap, he's more like a Charles Barkley.

I'd give that to Pac easily
