Who said the hood was going anywhere??? The hood mentality is just evolving.
That depends on the hood though. Stuff like that is a general statement that doesn't always apply to every place and every person.

Kendrick is a teenager, too, who grew up in a hood as violent as keef's. He spits positive rap and is now at the top of the industry. Keef spits mindless crap about killing nikkas in the streets of Chicago. How's his career doing?keef is a teenager, and a rich teenager at that. Ross and Hov are grown men. Ofcourse their rhymes are gonna reflect their mental mindstate.

The glory was there because u could really make money in the streets. U can't say it wasn't any glory when u still have people reminiscing over street legends like big meech, alpo and rich porter, frank Lucas, etc...
the glorification of those types.
were from the government investing into the discovery zone to create the applied knowledge.
there was never any glory in the streets.
the government just marketed to make you and its people think that.
the lack of pr, for the streets.
is because the government, stopped consistently and widely investing into the discovery zone.
now, they have the braintrust and the applied knowledge factor.
they no longer invest in the pr.
it is as simple as that.....
the government always invested into the street factor to take advantage in profitability, and socio-economic purposes.
there was never any glory,....
it was just pr'd so heavy..
that people fell into the systematic trap.
the streets will always create the music it makes now.
as the government created and absolved everything to make the streets.
the streets exist in this country from the government purposefully disallowing Keynesian theories.
their predominate groups of people were able to us.
plus, purposefully stripped from us.
to keep us locked into being the economic boost and buffer for this country.
they control us,..we don't control anything.
in general, you can only do what a country allows you to.
this country does not allow you to operate, or create a profit in the streets.
they systematically created the discovery zone.
to eliminate us from creating an economy to sustain ourselves.
while also,..plucking away key adaptations and modifications.
that gave us a glimmer of hope, or the ability to survive.

Nobody is trying to phase out the hood. But who says you have to glorify the negativity. You argue that rap has always celebrated the worst parts of the hood. And you're simply wrong. Wu tang, jay, kool g rap, nas, etc. have reported on the hood and it's effect on black people, but they never gleefully worshipped the poison that is killing the black underclass. They admitted to being products of the streets while still acknowledging that they wanted something better for themselves and those in the hood. Chief keef has never made a song like ill street blues.I was responding the people who were saying that the hood ain't that bad and poverty int that bad. You can't phase out the hood in rap music.
the first thing about society is the general rule.
exceptions do not count, in the general rule.
most black people do not understand about in general and facts.
purposefully, these concepts are kept from us.
just like key words in this American society are not consistently used as a point.
so, you don't and can't in general make a frame of reference to them.
exceptions to the rule don't matter, on the spreadsheet.
as they have a system in place that will eventually net everyone in general.
plus, acquire the profit from the rare exceptions as well.
right now,..their braintrust is so powerful and completely unstoppable to the end of time.
you just do not know it, because you lack the braintrust in general to no better.
that is by design,..not by exception.
nikkaz, need to stop thinking they are not generally not nikkaz, to the powers that be.
yousa, and i'ze a nikka to them.....
I don't care how exceptional you think you are.

well, 1st. Kendrick grew up in the hood but from what I've heard he wasn't really part of the bullshyt that much. Chief keef OTOH? Shiet. We already know about his rap sheet.Kendrick is a teenager, too, who grew up in a hood as violent as keef's. He spits positive rap and is now at the top of the industry. The streets were actually dumb enough to think better and see how the government is manipulating their cognitive structures in their heads. Tell this to the lost oldheads that think that rap is all about the NEGATIVITY of the streets and the ignorance of it.
what's so wrong about these weirdo rappers? At least they aren't on wax lying about shyt they never did and glorifying violence and exploiting to make money.
it's like some of these rappers go outside the box people put rappers in (as being nothing but violent drug slinging gangsters) and then people get mad
if they are THEMSELVES they are "weirdo's" but if they spit ducktale violent coke rhymes they are "real nikkas"![]()
