I will say this, all party dominance is an anomaly. If one candidate can bring everyone together, everyone comes together. Thats how things have always worked in this country and in Maryland.
A Kennedy lost an election in Maryland because she couldnt carry what Glendenning had.
Saying that, even with all of those factors, a democrat should not lose as badly as Brown did. He ran a bad campaign and is a bama on top of it.
I agree. But for the sake of discussion, why does the campaign actually matter? We're supposed to be responsible adults. When it comes to politics, why do we need other people to motivate us to get to the polls? Especially when we know sitting at home empowers the opposition?
