He may be playing Pryor, but this dude starting to act like he think he on that level.

Lowkey a lot of comedians hate kevin hart, call it jealousy or whatever but they don't think hes funny enough to be where hes at in the game and one thing about comics is they're like a brotherhood for the most part and love and respect good material from one another so it ain't just blind hating. He's not a great to them. When you think about comedians that had runs like his, Pryor,Foxx,Murphy,Rock,Chapelle. Those guys have legendary standups and classic movies and roles and legit respect of other comedians for being legit funny. Kevin Hart doesn't really have that but let him get his money.
This pretty much sums up the sentiment. If you can't somehow see what homey is saying here you shouldn't be in this conversation.

Question...Who is bigger than Kevin Hart right now? You wanna say he ain't the funniest or the best, that's your opinion and your right however there is no denying he is the biggest thing going right now. He's got comedy specials that are going straight to theaters rather than HBO or Showtime and doing pretty good numbers considering...Eddie was the last to do that. Like it or not, he's got the biggest show on BET and number 1 movie after number 1 movie. I love Chris Rock, he's actually my favorite but his SNL stint was less than remarkable and his movie roles for the most part have been meh. Most people didn't know who Chapelle was until his show and Foxx was pretty much an underground sensation until "Sanford and Son". Like I said, if you don't like him that's fine. But to totally ignore what he's doing and manufacture reasons to try to downgrade him is just petty and unnecessary.

I never denied youre not the biggest thing out. Did you even read the post Kevin?

Chris Rock's role in I'm gonna get you sucka is more memorable than any role Kevin Hart has played. How did no one know who chappelle was when half baked is a classic comedy in most circles?

No ones downgrading you Kevin. Its just a majority of us don't find you hilarious and apparently a majority of comics don't either. Don't let that stop you from getting money and laughing at your own jokes harder than the people you're telling them to.

We argue the most about imaginary lists based off personal preferences

If someone isn't funny you can just not give them money. Don't even have to tell us
This is the thing though ,i have given kevin money, only to feel duped afterwards.

Basically, Mike got butthurt because he got caught hating, Kevin roasted him, and this is the result. If you're wondering, this is what makes Mike Epps a hater:

He can't stand how successful Kevin Hart is so, right out of the hater's handbook, he starts to warp the circumstances in a way to minimize his bigger success. That's Hater Tactic #1.
It's the system that's making Kevin successful. It's the machine. It's fake people. The nygga blamed Twitter for Kevin Hart's success. :deadmanny:
Kevin don't deserve it.

Hater Tactic #2 : "I'm just being real." I'm telling you what everyone else won't tell you.

It's the ultimate defense. It makes you seem genuine and rallies other losers to your side. Look how many lames have come in here and championed Epps as some truth-telling "real nikka".

There's nothing real about what he's saying. He's being the hater version of Fox News. In fact, Fox News does it so much that they invented the term "liberal media" to make it look like everyone else is lying to you, but they'll always tell you the truth. Everybody more successful (Chris Rock, Kevin Hart, Dave Chapelle) is fake and phony but not Mike.

Why are nikkas ignoring mike epps saying that kevin went at his career FIRST. It's like nikkas see what they want to see.
If a nikka take a shot at your career and you give your opinion on there's ,that's hate?

Ah yes, the old I didn't read the post but tried to come down like sting from the rafters but ended up like Owen hart.

Breh stop. Your presented an inaccurate portrait of history based on your preferences and ignorance and tried to pass it off as proof of something. I shut that shyt down and your only recourse is calling me Kevin and Owen Hart :heh:. The Coli at it's finest :wow:.

Giving an opinion is fine. Saying one thing and doing another...not so much.

People need to stop with this "friendly"/"raw" shyt. Neither Mike Epps nor Aries Spears are missing meals or stuck in hole in the wall clubs. I must have missed Kevin or some other square in "The Hangover." It was some other square getting booked as teenager and booked on the show that challenged SNL for a minute right? :comeon: How the game is set up is that a nikka like DMX was seen as the next big action movie star. We need to stop this excuse making and plea copping for why someone other than ourselves or someone we decided was real/raw got on. I appreciate Mike being real with his hate but at the same time it's :scust: that a grown man who is successful in his own right is hating. Since when do real nikkas do that?

So we gon pretend DMX ceiling as the next big action star was the same as Will Smiths:comeon:...you tell me which rap superstar has the broader appeal:sas1:

DMX was the action star in films with mostly black cast lets be honest, lets not pretend they was trying to push him as the next Bruce Willis,or Stallone:mjlol:....He was successful in his demographic just like Mike Epps is,sure they have crossover appeal with maybe some younger/cooler white people too,but comeon breh, that ceiling is there for a nikka like Mike or Dmx when it comes to crossing over or appealing to certain demographics:mjpls:....And do you remember who Mike Epss played in Hangover,he was hired to be "funny street nikka they copped drugs from #1" lets not pretend he was aaaalll on the movie poster,or aaalll in the movie.

Kevin Harts humor allows him to have a spot on the poster, these is facts bruh:manny:....Its the reality of things,im even saying myself Mike don't have a right to be mad because he knows this and prides himself on being a hood nikka and keeping it gutter...you cant acknowledge that and then be mad your path will be harder when trying to crossover.

I wasn't calling Kevin a c00n if that's how it sounded,i feel like he is being himself and not watering himself down in any way either....The friendly comment was specifically just for that real world example i was giving about something that happens in the workplace...unfriendly people come in all colors:whoa:.

But you cant take pride in NOT doing what it may take to get a promotion(ie being friendly, possibly kissing a little azz),then turn around and get mad at the guy who is either naturally friendly or playing the game who got the promotion.

If you really take pride in NOT playing the politics of the game you in,you either say fukk that promotion,be happy with the position you are in,or be so great that SOMEBODY says "Nevermind he aint friendly, but this mans work:banderas:"...or become your own boss:myman:

Cant ignore the positive things Mike said about Kevin as much as we like to focus on the negative,i think he was speaking in general with a lot of what he was saying too btw.

The bolded was actually part of my point. If you know you are real and unwilling to compromise and you are successful in your own right and content with that then you shouldnt' even be worried about this nikka...let alone trying to throw salt in his shyt...after you went on his show. Sounds to me like Kevin's shot at his career really hit him hard.

My point with DMX was that he was the gutterest of all gutter (on a mainstream level) and of all rappers at that time Hollywood chose him and who knows what he could have become if not for the drugs. Point is he was given the opportunity. This idea that they run from hood or hardcore or controversial is silly when you consider the opportunities that some of the guys who fit that mold became and fact that the hood image is the image they love to portray. That's the box they want us in.

Like I keep saying, Mike himself is a pretty big star so he's the last person that should be going down this "only square nikkas get a chance"/"real nikkas don't have as many fans" road.
