good film but it dragged a bit. been feeling the last few bond films more than MI.
for a film largely about the dangers of technology it felt like this showed how old the franchise is getting when the biggest tech is still that mask box. i know its rooted in reality but this used to feel cutting edge. now its like eh, cool. unless it gets a refresh with the new cast, its probably best this ends here.
agreed here
with how omnipresent & prevalent AI is becoming in everyday life, the "entity" felt a bit outdated, even if the core concepts of its capabilities are something that could be a real concern as AI continues to evolve. (check this out if you want to see parallels to the "entity":

I did however think the submarine scene was absolutely magnificent -- it almost had 2001 type horror vibes to it at times. The music and lack of dialogue really helped drive that scene, it was really amazing I felt (even if it ended up with Cruise floating to the surface in the fetal position lmao)
movie dragged a bit, but if its the last one, I can excuse that. Ive never loved Gabriel, hes so bland to me, it could be the actor not selling the role too. Tony Dalton >> Esai Morales as far as villans -- I always wish his characters were more Lalo than Del.
overall it was fun, the big set pieces were great. that sub scene was an all timer for me I think, would love to learn more about the filming of it, I thought it was the standout part of the movie
