There is also a budget problem.... $700 million to make two film is painfully inefficient.
The other 6 films had a combined budget of $850 million.
So, a lot of bullshyt had to be going on behind the scene, because Fallout was only on a $178 million dollar budget.
More money, more problems.

To be fair, the filming was impacted by Covid and the writers strike. I believe when they had to shut down, Cruise and company still paid everyone while on hiatus which impacted the budget. The films would still be expensive, but not as much due to outside factors.

Just getting back from seeing this, the submarine segment and the plane segment are most definitely the highlights of the film 
Reading some of the comments and what they pulled off was indeed impossible
, you can always count on things not going exactly to plan and them having to improvise something crazy. It still makes for some thrilling sequences.

I would say... Same level.
They’re both so messy, but part of me is leaning no. NTTD had a lot of balls for what it pulled off in the end.

Fallout was just a perfect popcorn film.
The series peaked with that one.

I believe it but why even try it knowing the danger involved?
And Tom Cruise is like a senior citizen now. How is it even possible physically?

good film but it dragged a bit. been feeling the last few bond films more than MI.
for a film largely about the dangers of technology it felt like this showed how old the franchise is getting when the biggest tech is still that mask box. i know its rooted in reality but this used to feel cutting edge. now its like eh, cool. unless it gets a refresh with the new cast, its probably best this ends here.
