Just came back from a week in Rio, stayed in Ipanema. Yes, what they say about the Women are true. Literally every single shade from albino looking ginger to dark afro; bad in shape thick and with the cakes and tan lines. Everybody is in shape and constantly working out. If you don't speak Portuguese, yes It's gonna be really hard for you overall.

Pedro De Sal- Lit, block party street event until 5am in the morning. Good vibes, beautiful women and friendly people.
I recommend going to Casa Black Rio on Friday and Saturday-once again baddies and they cater to black people in that space.
Cocobana Beach (Rasta beach specifically)-lit and a good vibe
Definitely go to one of the live Samba shows or events they have

Everybody kissing each other outside like full on making out, alot of lgbtq and some trans which I was suprised at.

Shopping in Ipanema and around those stores particularly by the Havianna Flagship store, constant stares and sometimes looks of slight disgust as we were the darkest people in those stores and in those areas. Same in the big mall in Botafango, it's like they don't expect black people to be able to afford the equivalent to $50 USD items? Restaurants-lots of staring weird looks. A waiter did tell my fiancee and I we were beautiful so maybe it's on some awe or want to fukk shyt?

I bought a day pass at Smart Fitness gym and was the darkest person and once again constantly starred at. My stature and tattoo's aren't that different to the hundreds of people with more tattoos.

Did not like the food at all-the cheese bread thing, farfoja, the snack chip thing on the beach>almost the same level of ass as the women. The best things were the national dish and sushi, cevhice. Steak was good too but who can't cook steak.

I had a great time, but i'm not single like most people I know who went and didn't get to partake in the other debauchery so I wonder if that played apart in some shyt. But overall I would go again and learn the language.

I heard Brazil has the most people African descendants of any country outside of Africa and has a strong Yoruba culture, but I think that is mostly mixed race and not just straight up black people. Outside of a few select places, you didn’t look out of place, did you?

Outside of a few select places, I did not feel out of place. They have literally every race there, including gingers

I think the experience going as a single man and going with your girl is diff. I went with my girl and had a great time. But I didn't think the women were OD bad like alot of people. I saw a lot of average looking women to be honest. I saw more beautiful women in DR for sure. Even just walking through the airport, the DR women that were working there were bad. I want to go back and visit the more afro-brazilian parts. Rio is definitely a beautiful place though. I didn't feel out of place one bit for being black.

Yea it definitely is going as a single person, I can tell just based off the times I did my own thing while she was sleeping and the looks I got. Hmm interesting, I went to DR when I was like 14 so I kind of forgot, but I live in NY which is DR junior- I still have Brazilian women slightly higher in my opinion. My list in no particular order is: Trinidad, Houston, Toronto, Miami, Brazil, DR

One of my rules is to not go to any Latin American countries with my wife. Brazil included.

“CANT DO IT”

I would be driven mad.

I heard back in the 90’s Brazil was OD sick. Orgies for $10 American and could go raw and bust in the bytches, pull out and put it in another bytch. Dymes.

My uncles best friend went down there in his 30’s as a single man with money and he literally lost his mind. He goes there 4 months of the year and will not even speak to American bytches. Dude has some type of sexual trauma.

The food isn't my favorite I won't cap, but the energy and vibes were unmatched. Live music everywhere, people kissing and working out and shyt beautiful people, friendly if they weren't staring, partying till late night. We went to Sugar Loaf Mountain and they had a dj. Went to some samba event and it was lit. This is probably one of the few times being a stereotype worked for me because I felt no danger despite being warned 40 times while there. Should I have gone there engaged? maybe not in hindsight; but still would go back to Salvador Bahia or Sao P. Interesting to note, all or most black women had natural hair and fro's and my fiancee thought they were cosplaying black americans on some FBA shyt because the black brazillians kept line dancing and doing specific dances to american songs that don't require those type of dances. I had to remind her they most likely don't even understand the lyrics and only hear the beat.
