The stats argument is getting old, of course LeBron is gonna probably end up having better stats in certain categories, he's already played more mins than Mike did in the NBA and probaby still has at least another 4 years in the league....and despite that he still has less rings, less MVPs, still has less points, and has yet to win a defensive player of the year award in his career.

So he can stat pad as much as he wants at this point, Jordan did more with fewer minutes on the court. It's over.

All of this is mute points And you mentioned the Detroit Pistons in your previous post, which was a moot point cause the bulls won that season. Was manu and tony not on the spurs when Kobe torched them in 08? Was Prime Duncan not on the spurs when Shaq/Kobe beat them 2-1(he was hurt in 00 I believe so I won’t count that) did the lakers not still beat them in 04? Fisher shot and all?

All I can say is many players and writers have alluded to this theory. And sometimes when it's smoke it's fire.

Even if that side of it is not true, jordan was a brand that not only was a money machine for the bulls but for the entire nba. In that scenario many channels are going to work they ass off to get him back in the league. Jordan himself always did things to stay in some kind of game shape. A camp where he invited nba players I think it was in cali, continued behind closed doors to work out at the bulls training facility. This is common knowledge actually. The bull's as well as David stern knew jordan was coming back.

Pip has always thrown shade at Mike when given the chance. You know pippen back actually went out in game 6 of 1998. So much so that the team said they needed him to gut it out cause most likely he wouldn't be able to play game 7. So they had to win that game.

Hate pip all you want but the bulls don't win multiple rings without pippen. He was the one who guarded the the toughest perimeter player. Whether that was magic in 91 or Penny in 96 or Mark Jackson in 1998 (who the team struggled handling cause he would post every one up and pass out the double team).

I said it before when the bulls swept the pistons in 1991. They asked zeke, laimbeer and rodman what was different than last year. They said pippen we can't stop him now. Before we could now we can't. He isn't scared of us and has grown up and is an offensive force.

1 deal confirmed on the table was pippen to Seattle for Shawn Kemp and Ricky pierce, in 1994, that Seattle back out of on draft night. Rumor has it MJ put the call in on not trading pippen , and if he got dealt to Seattle MJ would have joined the knicks. But let's say MJ comes back to the bulls to play with Kemp and pierce, or joined the knicks. Does he win a title without pippen? I say in both scenarios , jordan def still wins a title

Or , in 1997 the bulls were heavily considering rebuilding, and had a package on the table with boston to send boston pippen for their 3rd and 6th pick and antoine walker. Jordan and Phil killed that deal. But let's say jordan and Phil ok the deal. Bulls were looking hard at Keith van horn (who went 2nd) Ron mercer and Tracy mcgrady. So they likely would have taken mercer and mcgrady. This one is shaky because those 2 were so young. Could jordan have won a title with them, idk.

Oh, it was very real, Krause had a heavy fear of the bulls ending up like boston. Meaning stuck on deals and with a core too long that couldn't win anymore and when it was time to rebuild couldn't get a quality package to kick start the rebuild so it left boston pretty bad throughout most of the 90s.
