That’s a perfect example and you just proved my point. Kobe was a sidekick to Shaq for those first 3 rings. Scottie was a sidekick for all 6 rings and never went to the finals as the Man. The highlight of his whole career was playing besides Jordan.

Nah I actually DID NOT prove your point:mjlol:
How many rings did Jordan win without Pippen :lupe:

out of prime you can make the same excuse for the MJ Pistons and Lakers. Barely escaped but he escpaed ragardless, no need to put barely behind it.

Point is, he beat PROVEN champions, whereas MJ didn't. Let's keep it 100, LBJ had more competition than MJ. GSW alone shyts all over the competition MJ went through
:gucci:The bulls beat the lakers 4-1. How is that “barely”? And yes Lebron did have more competition....and he lost more than he won, in fact, he had to force a game 7 twice out of his 3 rings.

The spurs were seconds from beating him before Chris Bosh rebound-Ray Allen shot. Granted Lebron had a spectacular Game 7 but still it was seconds away from no game 7 at all from a team where 3 of the stars were old ass nikkas

The warriors were up 3-1 and had probably one of the worse collapses in sports history for him to beat them.

That whole “More competition” shyt only works if Lebron has 4-5 rings. Then we can debate who beat who.

Lebron is 3-5 and had to force his way from defeat twice. Jordan never had to

Jordan never choked to a team like the 2011 Dallas either.

none of those teams you mentioned are anything close to the warriors and spurs of lebrons era.......

youre on crack if you think those teams MJ beat would be legit contenders today. if MJ played today he would NOT go 6-0 in the finals. you can bet that shyt

Step ya troll game up :russell:

He got 6 rings da fukk? As for the first round. None. I’ll be the first to admit that

But How many rings Shaq got before Kobe became a all star and eventually a superstar? How many times he lost before Kobe or when kobe was riding the bench?:jbhmm:

None, how many Shaq won without Kobe? Only one? I guess that means Kobe was just as important to those 3 finals as Shaq was huh?

So all that “kobe was a side kick” talk is suddenly not valid on the Coli nomore huh?

This is all I'm saying though :hubie:

But it’s a mute point. Bron lost more than he won to them. Kobe faced more competition than Jordan too and got more rings than Bron. So what’s the point really?

Those same old ass spurs that you consider “more competition” to bron. Kobe whooped they’re ass while Duncan/Tony/Manu were in theyre primes and younger. Lebron is 1-2 against those spurs and got swept by them. Couldn’t beat Boston till he got Wade and Bosh. Couldn’t beat the warriors without a miracle and he’s still 1-2 against them.

So its ok to say “lebron singlehandedly turned the cavs around” but not to say a player singlehandedly won a championship?

(Oh wait i forgot u lebron stans say 2011 didn’t count)

Tell me ONE TEAM, that won a championshop with NO STAR PLAYER. I’ll wait
1. I’m not a Lebron “stan”
2. I’ve never said Lebron turned around the Cavs
3. It’s possible for 1 player to “turn around” a franchise if you’re defining “turning around” as shifting the outlook or future prospects of the organization. There are athletes across many sports, however, that I would argue have done this. But that’s significantly different than suggesting 1 player is responsible for a team championship.

I hope that clears things up.

That's not a fair question in regards to MJ/Pip because they played damn near their whole careers together.

Of course they didn’t play their entire careers together, that’s why my point stands. Jordan played 2 years in Chicago before Pippen got there and didn’t win a chip.

Jordan got bounced in the first round in the playoffs as a rookie and Jordan’s second year he got swept by the Celtics :mjlol:

Pippen showed up in Chicago in 86 then that’s when Jordan won MVP :dead:

Jordan needed Pippen and Pippen needed Jordan. End of story

Pippen ain’t no damn Rodman :camby:

:scust: The disrespect these nikka's giving Pippen in here...

MJ ain't win but 1 playoff game (not series) without him in his whole career and they acting like he some scrub who was lucky to be in his presence.

Put a Celtic's, Piston's, and a Buck's jersey on these henchmen and this what Batman looked like without any "help" in his first few years.
