Difference between Lebron, MJ and probably a couple other greats is jut circumstance and MJ had the perfect storm.

The 90s Knicks were the best and toughest defensive team in the NBA
93' Suns were lethal
92' Blazers were amongst the best teams in history not to win a Finals
Reggie's Pacers (took the Bulls to Game 7 in the ECF)
Shaq & Penny's Magic
Hardaway/Alonzo's Heat
Payton/Kemp's Sonics
Malone/Stockton Jazz

come on now. LeBron is going through Lance Stephenson, Joakim Noah and Al Horford every year in the East.. and then when he faces a challenge in the West.. he's 3-5 in the Finals:yeshrug:

and none of those teams mentioned stepped to the plate and won it all during his absence NOT ONE of them. that's the point I was going to elude too, they just played them hard. what's the excuse for their inability to win it all when he retired the first and second time?

Whereas LBJ had to endure KG/PP/Allen/Rondo celtics (champs), spurs (champs), warriors (no further explanation needed), and the Bad boy pistons 2.0 (champs), and they 2011 Mavs who had the postseason just all of a sudden get it lined up to knock down. Even though they didn't win it the OKC thunder, maybe one of the biggest "what if" teams in NBA history.

Not to take away from MJs greatness one bit, but LBJ had harder competition to endure on his way to rings than MJ did

I understand this as well, which is why I keep saying that they needed eachother.
The same could be said for Shaq and kobe but that don’t stop nikkas from mentioning Shaq being the #1 option and Kobe being the sidekick

Pippin was a sidekick, a very good one, but a sidekick.

Well, great point.

Man: kobe, Lebron, Duncan

21 Finals appearances since 1999.
13 Championships

Team: Nets, Grizzlies, Hornets, Raptors, Jazz, Suns, Clippers, Nuggets, Pacers, Timberwolves, Pelicans

0 NBA Championships IN EVER.

Basketball is less of a team sport than baseball and football. In basketball one player can score 81 points and lead his team to a comeback victory. No other sports league offers that.

Preted as if you didn’t know basketball was a superstars league brehs. :mjlol:
Again.
Because you didn’t answer my question:
Why do you pretend like it’s all one man’s fault or credit that a team wins or loses a championship?

Horrible example with Shaq and Kobe. They bothe went on to win championships without eachother. Pippen was no sidekick

Bron faced a celtics team when they were slowly leaving theyre primes. Barely escaped the spurs and the warriors. He never dominated who was in front of him except 2012 thunder. When Jordan got to the finals, he dominated his competition by far. Never a game 7

Again.
Because you didn’t answer my question:

So its ok to say “lebron singlehandedly turned the cavs around” but not to say a player singlehandedly won a championship?

(Oh wait i forgot u lebron stans say 2011 didn’t count)

Tell me ONE TEAM, that won a championshop with NO STAR PLAYER. I’ll wait

That’s a perfect example and you just proved my point. Kobe was a sidekick to Shaq for those first 3 rings. Scottie was a sidekick for all 6 rings and never went to the finals as the Man. The highlight of his whole career was playing besides Jordan.

none of those teams you mentioned are anything close to the warriors and spurs of lebrons era.......

youre on crack if you think those teams MJ beat would be legit contenders today. if MJ played today he would NOT go 6-0 in the finals. you can bet that shyt

out of prime you can make the same excuse for the MJ Pistons and Lakers. Barely escaped but he escpaed ragardless, no need to put barely behind it.

Point is, he beat PROVEN champions, whereas MJ didn't. Let's keep it 100, LBJ had more competition than MJ. GSW alone shyts all over the competition MJ went through
