Yea I could see them not wanting to end the album on such a potentially depressing manner. I actually think Against The World could have worked as a closer as much as it works as an intro. P saying “See you on the other side” as the last words heard on the album would’ve been crazy.
Against the world was originally the closer.

Btw I don’t find P’s verse depressing at all. I think it sounds dope and it actually makes me feel optimistic. It makes me happy that he lived a full life and did the things he wanted to do in life.

But I also understand why everyone might not agree

Naw that was a flex

HER and Jorja Smith on a Mobb Deep album is epic. Pick your favorite version. And consider the other a bonus track or something

Too early for the nitpicking. Brush your teeth first
Exactly how I feel.. Having HER not only on a song but being able to put it at the end of the album was a flex.

Hav does his share of chopping

This right here.

Hav's been chopping since the early 90's. Large Professor and Premier taught him that first. Then on The Infamous, Tip taught him how to filter basslines. Dude was schooled by some of the best to ever do it. There's literally nothing Havoc can't do behind the boards.

Fam, did you see Prodigy's daughter's face when she was talking her father being in a comic book?! Son is really making dreams people didn't even know they had come true. He won't be truly appreciated till after he's gone.

But back to the album, this a instant classic. I don't care what nobody say. Add another one to Mobb's catalog. I seen dudes on here calling Alfredo 2 classic. If that's classic, WTF is this? And yes this is their best album since Murda Muzik, which came out 26 years ago. Nas got a lot of love (rightfully so) for coming out with top 5 quality level projects 30 years into his career. Mobb Deep has now done the same. This the only album I heard all year that's fukking with the Clipse album for Album of the Year.
