It makes no difference. I was just watching that Charlie sheen shyt. Originally it was "the platoon". the difference in name matters nun.
Yeah I'm just being picky. As long as the musics good.

As others said Mobb Deep covers are not the best anyway. Blood Money is probably the best looking one but also their worst album.

It's weird bro. Those early G-Unit album covers all had the same sort of cheesy aesthetic and feel to them, but I also liked all of them.

The Infamous and Hell on Earth are S tier hip hop classics

I wonder if this can live up to the hype

In order for this to really shine, people can't compare it to their best albums.

No matter what's on this, nothing could ever top The Infamous, or even HOE. This joint will have to live on its own and just be solid.

This is what I don't get about how people view things in art. When you have one seminal work - an album, film, novel, etc - you are stamped forever. It's very rare to have multiple things like that so why expect or demand it again. I'm not even talking about "classic" albums per se. I'm talking about an album that changes the entire sound/perception of an entire coast. Like...The Infamous. So no, Mobb is not going to do that in 2025 lol. Nor should they be expected to. If we get a dope album it's just another notch on the belt for a legendary duo.

Unless you're Miles Davis, the odds of you changes music/sound/etc multiple times are low.

Truth.

I'm definitely not looking for them to top any of the sh*t from '95-'96. That was 30 years ago. That ain't happening, lol.

But I do hope we can get an album that's dope enough to play for mad years. If they can just add to the legacy and catalogue, with some more good music, then that's the win. This one gotta stand on its own though.

You’re gonna be let down if there’s where your expectations are. No one in any genre does that 30 years after their best work, let alone on a posthumous release. You should just hope for a solid offering

I'll take one G Rap verse over anything Mega puts out. I'm guessing there's some issue between Mega and P, because Hav didn't seem to have any issues getting people to contribute
Mega showed love to P after his death, but then Sherm Da Worm's people started defacing P's mural in QB. Mega was stuck cuz he didn't wanna betray Sherm who he ran with his whole childhood or disrespect the memory of P.
