The Infamous and Hell on Earth are S tier hip hop classics

I wonder if this can live up to the hype

Prodigy is deceased. Even if Havoc and Alchemist did the fusion dance and put together the best beats known to man their STILL piecing together vocals from a man who hasn’t been on this earth for EIGHT years, that alone means there’s no possible way this is going to be near The Infamous and Hell On Earth.

The best scenario possible is something like One Of The Best Yet or We Got it From Here, albums that managed to capture the essence of the artists and was sonically pleasing AND cohesive despite a key member being deceased.

We gotta start having realistic expectations for these artists, no way we’ll be able to enjoy the effort by expecting a genre-shifting, universally recognized classic like The Infamous. Most artists go anal entire career and never get one of those.

I'm not going to put "Infamous/HOE" expectations on the first posthumous Mobb LP 8 years after P died. It's not fair to him, Hav or ALC. I just hope the production is on point and the features are good. Along with making sure P's vocals fit good on the production. I know going in these are old P verses from all over the place. So far so good with "Mobb against the World". The single really brought me back and captured that Mobb vibe though we are in 2025. The 90's are gone. 95 was 30 years ago. Sure people can mimic it but that gritty 90's sound is unique to that era. Honestly I've enjoyed every Mobb album even "Infamy" and "Blood Money" which people throw rocks at sometimes.

Good beats, good verses, good representation of what MOBB were about that hopefully gets newer fans to listen to their masterpieces. Best we can hope for (and i think they will pull it off)

The feature list looks legit. Nas on not one, not two, but THREE songs. Ghostface Killah, Raekwon, Kool G Rap, H.E.R, Big Noyd. I can’t see any of these artists half-assing or bringing anything less than their best for the final Mobb album.’

I still can't believe Esco got 3 features. But if you look back, Mobb had two features on "I.WW". Also on "Nastradamus" they had "Family" and Hav produced "Shoot Em Up". On "Murda Muzik", NaS was suppose to be on "U.S.A. (Aiight Then)" but they took him off since he was on "It's Mine" (That was a mistake, his verse was fire). Then "Get It Forever" and "Dog Sh!t" was from that "Black cocaine" Era. So I'm excited to hear 3 NaS Mobb features in one setting.
