My only let down is I wish Big Twin was on here, and out of 3 Nas features I was hoping one would be on ALC. These credits look fire though.
I hope Hav comes super correct, the 4 Alc tracks will bang. This will be classic

I like the 3 nas features, but It is a shame there is no cormega on the album

Was hoping Big Twinz made it but I only saw Noyd. I also wanted Lox to be on there but they got Clipse. But yeah Mobb and Cormega always had heat.

Also NaS and Mobb have always gone together well. I even liked "Family" on "NaStradamus". But this was my joint.

This might be the one brehs. Havoc and Alchemist are the only producers a Mobb Deep album absolutely needs and they gotta come correct to honor P.
FWIW I feel like Sid Roams would've been dope af on here too but they don't make beats anymore so it was a non-starter.

edit: @Zero There's an argument that Sid Roams stuff with P solo was on the same level as the stuff ALC did for P solo.

Hype as hell, not listening to the single

Side note, have all these album covers for the Mass Appeal albums been trash or what?

None of the covers have been great. I don't know if you caught my post the other day, but 90% of Mobb's covers are super uninspired or bland. They're my favorite group ever, but their covers are almost always just the two of them looking at the camera.

The alternate cover for SC2 in this new Mass Appeal series was dope though.

Also, IMO a lot of older rappers that might be making dope music are still stuck in 90's cover mode where they just put their face on the cover. That shyt is so outdated. It was important back in the day for CD store browsers to connect your face to the video they saw of you, but now days everyone streams, and a cover is a creative opportunity to tell a story or a show a cool theme to draw people in.

Like that Life is Beautiful Deluxe cover of the watercolor painting of the speedboat? Perfect. It lets you know exactly the vibes you're gonna get. The Clipse, Alfredo 2, and Unlearning 2 covers this year are dope also. Even the Roc Marci/Preemo cover paints a picture.

I like Supreme Clientele 2’s album cover the most, but the cartoon variant is what I ordered for the Vinyl.

Rae’s cover was kind of lazy

Slick Rick’s was simple yet effective

Mobb Deep’s could have been better but they’ve never really been known to have outstanding artwork.

I’m most interested in De La Soul and Nas/Premo’s covers because their the ones who usually put some type of thought and concept into their artwork.

New single is one of the tracks of the year, makes me miss Mass Appeal got Havoc on the Rae and Ghost albums for a couple beats

All of these albums were finished BEFORE the artists signed the deal with Mass Appeal to be part of the “Legend Has It” campaign. Rae and Ghost had been working on these respective albums years prior, so if the vision wasn’t to get Havoc production then Mass Appeal wasn’t going to change that.

While we're analyzing the presentation, wouldn't 'The Infinite' be a better title?

Would be dope if Nas brought back the Nas / QB blurring together theme from his 90s albums.

It makes no difference. I was just watching that Charlie sheen shyt. Originally it was "the platoon". the difference in name matters nun.
