The NFL boycott shyt on here a few years ago was one of the most unintentional funny things. In one threads nikkas was 
about not watching the NFL but you’ll see that same poster all in the game threads that same exact week

I don't even think the Cubs-Indians game 7 got that many viewers.

I'm glad I ain't the only one. I deadass don't remember any NBA games on MLK this year. The NBA is losing wild ground.
ALSO, ain't nobody believe none of them people pretending to boycott. We all know damn well the same people who can't give up twitter for 3 minutes wouldn't have the discipline to stay away from a sport that's basically everywhere. They were probably "boycotting" games, but still tracking their fantasy teams.

They did on TNT but they moved them up earlier so they wouldn’t have to compete head to head with MNF. And they didn’t put marquee matchups on like they had in previous years

Honestly tho that game deserved them kinda ratings. NBA got the advantage of being a global game, but all their rule changes still can’t make it as exciting as what Bills/chiefs brought to the table. NFL got a good balance between team/superstar marketing but the NBA is wayyy too dependent on individuals whom aren’t even given the freedom to be dynamic personalities beyond dressing like zest monsters.
