That's 9156 a year.
That leaves you with 12844 a year for the family. You trying to tell me you pay the bills ( Internet, food, gas, lighting, transportation cost) for two kids and wife with 12844? :what:

Look if you say you're comfortable, then it's whatever but it just seems so hard to fathom. Maybe it's just different, because in NYC you would be eligible for Medicaid, foods stamps and public housing.

Believe it or not, they said I make too much for stamps with 4 people in my household :mindblown:. But electricity on average is $88 a month. Insurance is only 65. I'm a great driver. Internet is $60 a month which I pay upfront during tax time

LOL that nikka lyin....next a nikka gone say he's living good on 10k a year :russ:

Like I said, 22k single family income is poverty level.

If I was to lie, why not lie and say I make 6 figures. Do I really have to post my tax returns with my coli name?......ban bet? Y'all just can't see the beauty in the building process. I was in college the last 4 years FULL TIME. I just graduated in December. I just accepted a teaching job that starts in August that will double my income

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven

I try to tell nikkas stop this frivolous spending. There's another thread on here where breh said he has 800 AFTER paying rent...... And is asking for tips how to survive the rest of the month

A select few saying that's more than enough. Others in there talking about "b-b-b-but what about going out with friends and buying a few drinks and if you want to entertain a woman and 400 dollars in groceries and cable,Internet, riding around and smoking"

If you'd learn to sit your ass in the house and cut out wants instead of needs, you'd have way more money in the long run

renting long term is for suckers. i respect the people who stay home and stack their paper. that's what asians and indians do. they could careless about society's expectations. we're living in weird economic times. spending years and years giving more than half your paycheck to a jew for rent is a LOSING strategy.

Everyone keeps saying this, but I don't think it's entirely true. They're moving out to go to college and afterwards they don't need to move back. Because they pick good majors.

I see no problem at all...

But black people always have a issue with that I guess it's some kind of pride thing but a lot of dumb Motherfukkers go rent places they can't afford to just live on their own

Here in cali u have 30+ year-old with roommates so they could afford rent, but don't have money to go out

When I lived in japan I learned a lot of them live with their parents till they get married. They save their money or contribute to the fam instead of giving money away. When they get married they have some paper and live comfortably. It's not a bad idea.

If you truly happy, do what you want

I'm not tryna flex on instagram or be really cheap. I figure I'll be 22 when I graduate, use a years salary to really tackle my debt, and at 24 get a nice apartment and finish paying loans off:ehh:

And I'm having a roommate of course. No real reason to pay all of the rent when I could save half

You nikkas and your excuses, this is exactly why your living with your parents..30 plus and living at home?? At this point there isn't an excuse that's going to fly, you just a bum ass nygga and I don't care if you disagree, it's the truth. I can understand struggling through your early to mid 20s but by 30 you should have something going to where you can atleast afford an efficiency apt.

And :pacspit: at you nikkas that keep saying "I'm not gonna pay some landlord $700 to rent when I can live with my parents and stack and start a business":mjlol: nikka the only person you fool in is yourself, keep making them excuses breh and watch time fly....

nikkas gone be 50 talking bout "fukk renting, ima stack this paper, live with mama and have me a business by 70...MAMMA IM HUNGRY what's for dinner ass nikka":mjlol::mjlol:
get rid of this retarded ass mindest, asians, hispanics, eastern europeans, do this shyt all the damn time that's how they are able to come up buy property and distribute wealth. so i can't knock brehs who do stay at home until they are in their 30s

the quicker you guys learn group economics the faster we progress as a community

i personally won't be living with my parents once i graduate, and this is due to mental health reason (not tryna have them nag 24/7 like a fukkin teenager)

I'm 26, still live with my mother and sister.

But I contribute alot as well. I have a good job so I can move out tomorrow if push came to shove. I'm just saving up and I'll be moving out by the end of the year at the very latest. Hopefully sooner
