As far as dating, as it relates to dinners, I spend pretty indulgently on those things anyway, so me inviting someone feels natural and fun, BUT like I said I am going anyway, so adding an extra 60$ or whatever, is fine
If it's not a part of your normal lifestyle, going to upscale places, is going to be a strain, even if you make good money, because that's $200 a week or more, every week, that becomes a FIXED cost, which is what hits most people's pockets.
That's why for people who go on a lot of dates, they tend to try an keep costs and effort very low, because it's not sustainable otherwise.
Have no issue spending on dinner, but if I am going to pay for everything always, I feel very entitled to invite whomever I want
Told a story on here awhile ago, involving a very expensive hotel, and someone was like let's go, and I wasn't trying to test her, or any weird shyt, but my first thought was: are you down to split the cost for one night? And she was like all outraged, until I said "Do you know how much that place costs a night?" It's $1400"
it's just economics for me.

One thing I've learned dealing and interacting with women is a lot of them truly don't have a grasp or understand the concept of money management. Some of the baddest women with decent jobs are literally check to check or drowning in debt trying to front or live a certain lifestyle and are out and about every weekend just giving and having fun. I'm not going to knock it do your thing. But it's crazy to expect a potential mate to come in and just find that lifestyle while still maintaining his especially If y'all aren't married or in a long term committed relationship. I've bushed chics that hit me up for light bill money and they literally just came off a trip...... But I also got called broke by a few as well too since I choose not to spend my money the way they think I should. Brehs should just ignore chics that move like this off first contact. Don't even entertain the foolishness. It's the only way things will start correcting themselves.

I told her I know that’s your mom but you didn’t have to spend 5k plus on a party women just blow money she will go in the grocery store just picking up shyt not even checking the prices too I'm making 70k with like 4 months of experience in my field (software development) , once I reach 2-3 years ( or less ) ...I should be receiving a 6 figure salary. I could probably grind leetcode and test the market again , but I like where I am currently.
