she'd rather her friends tell her. they will sugar coat it, hug her, and point out their own flaws as well to make her feel better. men don't do that. men will just say "ion like that makeup on your face. it makes you like like a hooker." and leave it at that. women will say "girl, is that Revlon makeup? i don't think you have the right color foundation. they make some cheap ass makeup that only caters to white women. they don't know anything about how a black women's skin is. fukk their wack ass makeup. that's why i switched to Lamik 2 months ago. Revlon had me looking like a ghost in my pictures girl...."

From a female perspective, I assume they react negatively because the man isn't supposed to notice any flaws.

You're supposed to be saying "all your curves and all your edges, all your perfect imperfections". If you say you don't like something about her matter of factly then that would probably hurt. Then some people get defensive when they get hurt, then the fight etc etc

Imagine if your wife/girlfriend looked at you without your shirt on and matter of factly said "you should go to the gym". It stings no matter who does it
