when I worked with a contractor we used to go to some steel mill in Midlothian. Damn, that was a little town and was just in the early 2000s. Rockwall used to be tiny back then. Even Garland was like the end of civilization. Rowlett was like all horse farms. Hard to believe they will be 5A this year. And yeah, most of 5A is moving to the new 6A so Cedar Hill, DeSoto, all of them are moving up.

It's crazy how Midlothian and Waxahachie was Cedar Hill biggest rivals in 90's. Now it's Desoto and Duncanville.

But if you single and like clubbin there are obviously better options
Overall a great city. BUT if you don't like rubbing elbows with white people you won't get the full experience.....probably won't like it

. I think the younger people are moving to south dallas due to the price and its still easy to get to downtown

The traffic is horrible and depending on construction or accident you could be waiting in traffic for a minute.
Cost of living is amazing. I work at a blue collar job and I manage ok.

All my yrs in dallas traffic aint been a problem for me, yall need to learn the alternate routes, especially for rush hr. Wanna avoid 75 traffic go down greenville ave. Wanna avoid 35 go down riverfront. Wanna avoid the mess that is 635 go forest ln.
