If the roles were switched it would be okay for the husband to be the main breadwinner :sas2:

:sas1:
If the roles were reversed many people on this thread would be on opposite sides of the argument.

He is a little child, he can't financially support himself.
It's what he signed up for.
Are you saying all stay at house wives and stay at home moms are little children because they don't financially support themselves?:sas2:

I am very smart.

I'm not sure if you are though as I don't see how you equate building a business with not having a way to eventually provide for myself.

Also, the "no money" thing doesn't even make sense, but I suppose you were raised differently than I was. I didn't say I didn't have money, I said I didn't have a job when I got married.

Oh, I believe you :obama:

If you could equally provide for yourself, then I doubt your father would be providing a "certain lifestyle" for someone who could provide that lifestyle on their own.

If that money came from the same dad who provided "a certain lifestyle", then it doesn't count in the context of my retort. Unless that money was obtained through your own efforts, then that only leads back to the point of my original troll post.

Peace

If was not my job to provide myself with the lifestyle I was accustomed to living while I was in college. That makes no sense. My husband did not marry a 30 year old, he married someone who just graduated from college.

Whether or not ALL of my money came from my father during the ages of 18-22, doesn't matter. My money in my account is my money. My name on investments = my money. Therefore to say I had "no money" would be inaccurate. Whether or not you approve on passing along wealth is not relevant in terms of statements being accurate or not.

I never claimed that everything I have is based solely off of my own hard work because that would be a lie. And really I don't care about props for "hard work", I care about being able to use my time how I want to use it and not being broke in the process.

My husband was smart to marry me. And I was smart to make sure that I could transition into being married without losing the ability to live the life I wanted to live.

Marriage is a mix of love and practical matters. People spend too much time on the lovey dovey and forget that there are practical considerations.

If dude is going to be the female in the relationship he needs to maintain that roll. Storming into an office is fukking retarded and just put any promotion she was going to get on hold for years. This guy is a bytch. Actually any man that feels okay being at home all day cleaning dishes is a bytch.
there is nothing wrong with being stay at home but fun a way to contribute financially as well any grown man that's getting an allowance is :scust:

The Coli is the over sexualized, fatherless, captain of the high school football team, but now is a manager at Walmart brother. LSA is the the bed wench, natural haired chubby college graduate who now writes for a blog about natural hair care, and interracial dating while still being hopelessly single sister. Thats the relation.

But isn't that exactly what most females would do in this situation?

In fact they would probably do much, much worse.

And everyone should keep in mind we are only hearing one side of this story.
:what: what kind of female you fukking with. I work late atleast twice a week. My wife works a fulltime job and cooks, cleans and takes care of the kids by herself when I wirk late. Storming into my place of work and trynig to check my co worker would never even cross her mind and she's not even fully reliant on my income.

There are crazy ass females and crazy ass dudes. The guy in the story just happens to be both:scusthov:

nikka that ain't the same as you not eating at home and electing to eat twice a day with your "co worker", and "working late" everyday on an ongoing basis. If you think your wife would be ok with that then you're the fool. Nobody in their right mind would just be "ok" with that, notice the initial story didn't clearly state nothing was going on between her and the dude at work. The situation you described and the situation in the OP are two totally different situations.

Based on the story (and I know I'm only seeing one side of it) there was wrong doing on both ends. Clearly the wife works a job that requires frequent collaboration with members of the opposite sex and in the corporate world there are times where you are going to do long term projects with people and you are going to have to work closely at times and that includes having meals etc. I often have meals with potential clients that are females but I always maintain my professionalism and my wife trusts me as I would trust her should the roles reverse. The husband should have took the wife's word at face value instead of getting up in his feelings and neglecting his role and storming into his wife's job. He may have cost her a raise/promotion doing that shyt.

The wife was wrong too, she should have been more understanding of her husbands feelings and she should have not let her co-worker (unintentionally) esmasculate her husband, worse yet. She has to realize that he is a man not a maid or a dog and have been more assuring that this is a business relationship nothing more. She basically in so many words told him to chill and not be insecure but she should have addressed his concerns more seriously.

PS: Her co-worker sounds like a Chatty Patty snitching on her, they're probably fighting for the same promotion.
