I presented first and my topic (students had autonomy to choose their own topics) I chose the Jacksonville Mass Shooting that happened two weeks ago

My presentation went well, even people told me after class they thought I had the best presentation after class

But I could definitely tell my professor wasn’t fukkin wit lol, after all the presentations was finished she said she wanted to talk about some of the topics we picked

She says

I understand what he means when it comes to recommendations, reputation, and going along with the status quo. Corporate mindset unfortunately.

but that sets the precedent that you’re suppose to bite your tongue at obvious legal inconsistencies that can be proven false by federal laws and reports.

If the grade comes back and it’s not clear on why you didn’t receive the grade you expected, verbally and through e-mail (paper trail) ask her where in the rubric did you lose points.

If it ties back to you calling White Supremacist groups domestic terrorists, then now she’s fukking with your grade on something that is legally defined as true.

there’s plenty of professors who are stuck in their ways and refuse to learn or be open to new dialogue.. it being a pre-law class where
laws & regulations are being challenged everyday makes this egregious
