Waited tables for a good amount of time and just learned to get over it. There's gonna be another table, keep it moving man. Last person I knew that pulled a social media stunt like this got fired. shyts bad publicity...it makes the management and clientele look like shyt and makes the future customers think twice about dining there. The last place I worked at had like 4 or 5 restaurants within walking distance. She deserved to get fired.

Yea. Your dad is a shytty engineer. He designed a son, and got a bytch instead.Well there's a lot of reasons people post this shyt on social media. First of all its just to vent. Same as how people make threads every day on here about random things that happen in their lives. Secondly its an attempt to shame the customer and the behavior to try to discourage it in the future and maybe to try to enact just a bit of impotent revenge, however meaningless. Lastly, often these stories garner sympathy and random folks will make donations to the server or set up a gofundme in their name. That's become so common that we've even seen some people make up phony sob stories to try to cash in on the empathy of others

1. the American culture of paying someone to do their job is disgusting, why don't the employers pay them more like in nearly every other country on the planet

And people aren't upset over that? At some point these restaurants need to step up and stop being ridiculous. Customers already pay you for food and service, but you still want them to pay your workers as well.
