If Hitboy wanna do boom bap he need to put more swing in his beats but other than that u right.
I think he is capable. Have you listened to a couple of his projects before as well? What you mean by swing by the way?like heavier drums?

It's not a Nas "new" music thread till you get one of these type responses

The high hat needed more melancholy
and
The bass needed more sharpness crowd

Only Nas beats gets judged like that...facts

i dont think either of you are wrong...anything nas does is judged on a whole nother level. that being said, you're lying to yourself if you dont like the OG beat more

They have a great chemistry and hit boy is so versatile. He can provide nas with any type of track.

I appreciate that Hit tried a few different drum beats for the track but eventually settled with something close to he original. I don’t know how I would have felt if Hit would’ve tricked the whole song out.

once his people realize the lost revenue and advertising from only having it on spotify, im sure they'll work their contract magic to get it released to other platforms

this great track will be like a few other Nas tracks that were nice but exclusive to something other than Nas.

Wanna Be Me-8 Mile
Hey Young World-Levi’s
Film-Red Bull
If I Ruled the World II-Smirnoff
