Pass me the rock nikka
Why?he deserved it over take care and that trash carter 3 album
Why?he deserved it over take care and that trash carter 3 album
1. nikkas who are commercial but less so, bytch about being snubbed. And for nikkas who arent commercial completely know they wont make it for exactly that of not being pop. So idk why you bringing that up
2. Baby and Rod are not Vanilla Ice in the slightestyou sound dumb as hell saying this
3. And there is artistic quality in Baby and Roddy rich's album and other nikkas alike who would fit in two categories, that two categories is interesting. But for now we can acknowledge grammys messed up without having to solely deflect.

well no shyt, impactful and biggest artist of the year with decently recieved albums were passed over for fukking D smoke to be on here. Of course your gonna hear outcry if your gonna play stupid as to why the controversy is warranted then thats just you.Again, not to this extent. nikkas who are less commercial or not commercial, along with their fans, know what the deal is. You'll have a few naive ones who complain. But it's nowhere near the collective outcry and bytching I've heard from radio rap artists and fans this year.
The culture isnt being represented, these nikkas nominated reflect a portion of the culture and a small/minority one at that. And if your not equating baby or roddy to ice then why bring it up you slow ass nikka. clearly thats what you were trying to say, dont try to backtrack nowIf you can't see what's wrong with artists like Drake saying the culture isn't being represented in the nominations then I don't know what to tell you. No one is saying Baby is Ice, dumbass.

I'm not saying no art is involved in Lil Baby's release. What I am saying, is that if you're judging albums solely based on critical acclaim, then Lil Baby and Roddy Rich fall well short. They have good albums, but that's it.
An example of an album that would win awards in both categories? DAMN. Ready to Die. The Blueprint (Jay-Z). Albums that people will refer to in 10 years time, looking back. Classics of a subgenre, like Jeezy's releases or that run that Future went on a few years ago. That ain't Lil Baby, FOH![]()

Neither bruh. Life is Good is great all the way through and so is Kings Disease. The closest to a skip on either project is the swizz joint on life is good and on a summer day I'd play that too.neither one of those albums had skippable songs
Nas not gonna get it but out of that group that's my pick for who I want to win. I'd guess Royce or Gibbs.
Conway and Benny should have made the list.
If I Ruled The World deserved it.
But we know the album is the category that matters most that’s what we’ve been talking about the albums category to which Nas never deserved to win.
No, he didn’t deserve to win over Take Care. The same reasons you gave for Wayne winning apply to Drake. Take Care is a juggernaut of an album littered with classic tracks that has charted for over 400 weeks, jump started careers, and was just an absolute moment.
It’s just that the you type of nikkas could never have a person like Drake win over Nas. Drake is the antithesis of hip hop to you nikkas.
I don't even think Benny's shyt was good enough this year to make the list honestly. Conway maybe.Benny was after the eligibility period. He’ll have to submit for 2022.
Nas has literally the BEST chance of his entire career to take the W. He has the name recognition, acclaim, and he’s sold the most out of every nominee
I hope he wins. They owe him a Grammy.Benny was after the eligibility period. He’ll have to submit for 2022.

2. It's kind of insulting to hear these same commercial artists (along with members of their entourage) insinuate or blatantly state that the noms aren't "representative of the culture". What the fukk? Imagine Vanilla Ice saying... You know what I'm not even gonna go there
over artists/albums that received forced nods at award shows and got high marks in the source or other magazines, but got little to no play outside.nah take care was not a better album then life is good
