Dame is bitter, but doesn’t take away from what he said about Jay and he knows him far better than we do. Jay’s insecurity is always on display and him asking Dave and Obama, people that he is not that close with, induct him into the HOF shows that. LBJ asking Jay to speak at his award ceremony makes sense because they’ve been tight for years.
Jay’s image is carefully managed like a pop star and it works, but it’s still corny for a rapper.
