I’m sure the gameplay updates will be fine. 2k25 was an improvement over 2k24 in that department (which was an improvement over 2k23). My selling point will be the presentation. If it’s the SAME shyt, I will not be buying. The last time there was a semblance of change in presentation was the introduction of eras in 2k23. It was a nice touch seeing 80s and 90s filters, but I was hoping they would build from that, but they never did. Also the franchise mode needs an overhaul. The progression of the players. Something as simple as player ambitions when they enter free agency so you don’t have players like LeBron James signing with Charlotte. Making the All Star Game and Playoffs distinguishable from regular season. This doesn’t even include the various bugs like players healing from injuries too fast.

Nothing regarding presentation upgrades to halftime show, playoffs, All Star Weekend, Eras or WNBA, but YAY, we get sweat (which was in the game last year) and mascots doing stuff around the arena

The best thing about this is adding Tim Legler to the commentary team. I will not be buying this on the first day. Only reason I got it first day last year is because I didn’t pay full price.
