In the world of sports officiating, being a professional sports ref (primarily in the NBA) is clearly the apex. 175k - 550k a year plus benefits and travel expenses, direct access and on first name basis with Lebron James & Stephen Curry, and you work 25 - 60 times a year with possibility of making 10k per game if you officiate deep into the postseason.
