Since when could Eric Gordon defend anywhere near Joe's level. He's a better scorer but you need to compare EJ to guys in his league like Monta Ellis. Don't try to compare him to top dogs like Joe Johnson. 6th time All Star. All NBA performer.

Harden :dead: I don't even know how you can say that with any credibility as a Basketball fan. Joe draws double teams, a top quality defender and you comparing him to 6th man like Harden. :scusthov:

Right now, as in 2012, Eric Gordon and James Harden are better players than Joe Johnson. Are you trolling or are you just a terrible observer of basketball?

:wow: this nikka's troll game is top notch :pachaha:

Atlanta won a lot of games without Joe and Al at times. That doesn't mean they are a good team. They just played 100% every game. That won't happen now that they know Rose will be out for awhile and it's no bet if he will be back to old Rose after the :deadrose:

Atlanta doesn't have the defense pedigree of the Bulls though. :aicmon: Also, the Bulls are arguably the best rebounding team in the league as well. The fact of the matter is that the East besides Miami doesn't really have a dominant team. It's true no one knows how much old the old Rose is gonna come back, but athletes from every sport are coming back from ACL tears like it's nothing.

League? Joe Johnson is not on any super-star tier anymore man, stop that nonsense.

But as far as over scoring ability and play making I'm gonna take either James Harden or Eric Gordon. Right now.

If Gordon can stay healthy you're going to see his emergence no doubt.

Harden right now is the third best shooting guard behind Wade. It's not even close. I'm not talking who's achieved the most in the past, I'm not talking all-star appearances, I'm just talking as far as present performance.

Joe Johnson is a past his prime jump shooter with an average post game. He is not anywhere near the caliber he used to be.

You overrated your defense. 76ers are a better example from last year for this year's Bulls. Your defense is effective because Rose was your offense. When it was Lucas, you just played harder than everyone every game. That isn't going to fly this year. I don't see one dominant team in the East. Miami is the best team and the most talented but they aren't dominant. In Basketball, most of the ones I've seen lost a step but we will see.

Never said he was a superstar but he's a star. Harden and Gordon aren't neither. Joe is the same d*mn player slime if not better because he is a much smarter player.

Joe just made the All Star team last year and he will make it this year as well. :pachaha:

Joe Johnson isn't a star by any sense of the word. He's a slightly above average player given a super-star level contract which is probably in the hall of fame of horrible contracts next to Rashard Lewis and Gilbert Arenas.

He'll continue to do what he does. Play big in meaningless games and disappear come playoff time.

Granted, harden was underwhelming in the Finals, but that shouldn't take away from the dominant performances he had against the Lakers, Spurs, and the games he had throughout the regular season.

I'm just saying, if I'm a GM, right now I'd rather want James Harden or Eric Gordon on my team. Gordon has the ability to be a star in this league, and in my opinion James Harden is a star player.

The reality is arbitrary titles are meaningless, at the end of the day it's about who wins, who plays consistent, and who has better upside. So I'm going with Harden and Gordon.

Maybe Joe Johnson will be better as a Robin to Deron's Batman this year because Joe Johnson as the "best" player on a team is a recipe for mediocrity.
