Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
This is the NBA 2015. SOMEBODY has to shoot from outside, and with reasonable. You can't win in spite of it. I don't mind Wiggins at SG, but that means the 3 or the 4 has to be a 3 point threat because Rubio won't shoot it in volume. That won't be Bazz, and that won't be whoever they draft at the 4. Without it, you're daring Rubio to turn into Kyrie from long distance for that to be effective or for Shabazz to change everything about his game.

Draft the young platano that can hit the 3.....

You can find 3 & D wings on the FA market to hit the 3 a lot easier than you can find 6'8" shooting guards.

Hayes expires after this season. Bennett does not, and since we just traded for Payne and hopefully draft another 4, Bennett doesn't factor into the team's plans long term. If trade 1 happens, our roster looks like this entering next year

C Pekovic /Dieng /Nogueira
PF Towns /Payne /Bjelica
SF Wiggins /Muhammad
SG Martin /LaVine
PG Rubio /vet backup /(whoever we pick with Toronto's pick)

The stoop with dat dope fanny padding
:smh: Hey guys, lets draft a shooting guard even though we drafted one last year, fukk all those Power Forwards still on the board.

I'd love to see the Bucks go after Stauskas, that's a great fit for him.

The grantland video of him going thru the room asking people what they wanted was hilarious considering it was pretty obvious he was gonna go Stauskas regardless

Most of the guys were scared to speak out against him anyways, probably for that reason

Depending on the price, I would take a flyer on him... Probably wouldn't give up a 1st rounder tho

They are playing and developing the young guys, who they have under cap friendly deals for at least 3 years after this

You bytched about people like shabazz not getting minutes last year, now he is, and you're still complaining

Where have I complained about Bazz getting more minutes?

Keeping Kevin Martin because why not? He's an inconsistent injury prone player, get your draft pick, cap relief, and give those minutes to wiggins, shabazz, lavine

We're not getting a pick for him. If we were, he woulda been traded yesterday. The two years left on his deal scare teams off (which remember, was my source of dislike when they signed him)

The wolves are in by no means the model organization but I feel pretty strongly they've taken some obvious steps forward this season, especially considering the circumstances

They absolutely nailed the Kevin love trade

Even something minor like the mo williams contract and subsequent trade was handled pretty well... Considering their situation with free agency, that's not a bad approach if they can add veterans and then flip them for better long term assets if they aren't close to the playoffs

The Mo trade didn't bother me. Trading a guy who could fix a major deficiency (three point shooting) to save $900K in Daniels was offensive

And keeping Kevin Martin to stop them from drafting Russell is dumb logic

They shouldn't draft Russell anyway, but like I've maintained with Okafor, they have two monster deficiencies and the draft is their only way towards beginning to alleviate it. Why draft someone who can't fix your problems? (in Russell's case he permanently relegates Wiggins to SF and renders LaVine useless)

So the wolves should draft another 3 because wiggins to frail to play at the 3? Sounds pretty khan like they have like young 3 sgs if so.

I mean they could speak out against him, but at the end of the day he's the owner and what he says goes, they can't overrule him. So if his mind was made up that Stauskas was the guy then they just gotta roll with it

How does drafting Russell make lavine useless tho? He's not the starter next year, and he's best as a combo guard off the bench until he figures out what he's doing... Not saying they should draft Russell but I don't see lavine getting 25-30 minutes next year if the Timberwolves are winning unless he makes a surprising leap

You were pretty vocal about shabazz not getting player last year, now he is.

I wouldn't mind the Celtics taking a chance on Stauskas. Him & Young can get Thornton & Prince's minutes after the deadline

I wouldn't be against it either, I'm just not sure how the celtics match up to get him without giving up a first... Bass would be a good fit there, but they aren't making the playoffs and he'd be out of there after this season so it doesn't make sense for them

Personally I don't care for Zach's development, but Flip does, and Flip gushed about how he could be this destination player and teams will wanna join him and Wiggins. It's gonna look really bad if Flip has to eat those words 12 months later and scale back his "home run pick" to a 15 minute per game backup ceiling while saying everything he said regarding LaVine about someone else. The other option would be to trade him but he won't do that either.
