It’s popular cause it’s mostly them up there joking around and not giving a fukk. We get it you love the NFL.

:what:
Where I say anything bout NFL? That aint got nothing to do with it. I used to love Inside
But how about a little professionalism to at least ask a producer how to say these names especially star players or guys you're gonna interview.

love it or hate it, I’m pretty sure it’s intentional in the sense that they want to be like your uncles and shyt after a few shots of jack. I’m also pretty sure it’s a successful business model for them for them to be doing it as long as they have been...

Is there not other options for people that want in depth analysis or is there only one source for NBA commentary...? People that complain about this silly ass shyt are the types to go to a steak house whining about the lack of vegan options :mjlol:

Everything isn’t for everybody...This is what they do, don’t like it then don’t watch it. Not hard but complaining is a disease in the 2020s...

inside the nba funny as hell but the show becomes embarrassing when they try to provide actual insight. especially when it's a team you follow playing and you realize they don't know wtf they talkin bout at all or who even on the court :snoop:

it's very obvious shaq and chuck aint even watching the game and just read off the stat sheet like some lazy twitter nikkas

kenny and ej the only ones half-trying

also people really in here saying go watch cac shows for actual insight and analysis on basketball and at the same time complain about all the cacs they got covering the league lol, maybe the actual former players should show a lil more effort

100% agree with OP.
You can still get the jokes off and know who the players are. Knowing players is not expert analysis. They are on multiple nights a week and should, at minimum, know the starters of every team.
Between that and shytting on most of the games they cover is annoying. "Aint nobody watching this Ernie"

Besides nikkas apparently tuning in to Inside the NBA for the wrong reason, I'm dying that ESPN, of all places, is being propped up as the bar for sports analysis:mjlol:

Especially considering that one of their analyst flat out admitted last year that she left AD off 1st team All NBA all because she forgot about him :mjlol:

I wonder was breh vocal in calling out his colleague about that as well :mjlol:

There's lots of in-depth, analytical NBA media out there. Let Inside the NBA be what it is. You don't have to watch.

Put me on because I listen to Skip and Shannon purely for comedic reasons . I need a serious Basketball/NFL podcasts.

I see a lot of replies saying “it’s TNT, you’re not getting ESPN level production”

Like Paul Pierce and Stephen A Smith haven’t been saying “Donk-ich” and “Don-chick,” respectively, for the better part of his first two seasons

These guys get paid millions to do this. Across multiple networks. TNT, Fox, ESPN, NBA TV. And they butcher things that our fiends and barbers can do without much effort. And it’s just a hobby for us...

I’m not bent out of shape about it. But it’s embarrassing. And these former players and current analysts have no excuse for making 6-7+ figures and not know Jokic is Serbian, not being able to pronounce the names of top 25 players, or not know who Christian Wood is.

Imagine getting paid 500k to manage peoples’ money at an investment firm and not being able to pronounce “depreciating asset” or know what a Roth IRA is.
