Dress for the game and right after tip off have a player commit a foul and go to the bench
If its only a few games not an issue more if ur doing this for more than 8-9 games ur numbers are gonna get dinged heavy with all those zeroes...
Dress for the game and right after tip off have a player commit a foul and go to the bench
because there are tons of cases where players in the past havent and still gotten the awardsI mean if you can't play 4/5s of a season why should you win awards ?
no that won't work. You need to play 20 mins for the game to countDress for the game and right after tip off have a player commit a foul and go to the bench
or just abolish it because it doesn't address the actual "issue" of load managementCade ain’t deserve it anyways but the rule is flawed I’d set it at 58 games

65 games is arbitrary and not based on any data at all. It's an asspull number. Why not 55 games, why not 50? Victor Wembanyama is arguably the most impactful player in the league, and has played 57 games. So because he didn't play this arbitrary number of 65 games, he shouldnt win any awards?
Cade Cunningham led his team to the 1 seed in the east and is having an all-NBA 1st team/MVP caliber season. Since an opponent fell on him, collapsing his lung, he shouldnt be eligible for awards because he didn't play an arbitrary 65 games, again, number based on no data?

"a majority" could be anything you stupid fukk. it could be 44, 50 or 51, etc.Yes you fukking, dummy. You need to actually play a majority of the games in the regular season to be eligible for regular season awards. You sound dumb AF.
Go look at how many MVPs played under 70 games in the history of the NBA. That's how they got to 65, which is more than fair. They drew a line in the sand and still gave a cushion.because there are tons of cases where players in the past havent and still gotten the awards

The voters always put games played into consideration without the arbitrary "65 games played" rule before
there are seasons where Kobe and Bron played 64 games and still made All-NBA. Hell 55 games of Kobe or Bron is far more impactful than 70 games of some other player, chances are
This rule forces guys to play while injured.

Can't make a rule then wanna change it cause it suits your favourite player.![]()
