You're saying gay, but is the data saying that? The data is saying that they identify as LGBTQ. Bisexual is more than likely the leading demographic in that group. Even within that category that doesn't mean they don't prefer men either. You also need to account for the fact that women were pretty much forced to do whatever a man told them to do for the majority of human history. Also, accounting for women that just want to have children.
