Wish I could dap this twice.

Idk why...u basically dappin a nicca saying he's ignorant to Drake's come-up. Didn't know about the nicca til "Best I Ever Had," downloaded that So Far Gone and was like :leon:. Did a little digging to find out dude had like 2 or 3 mixtapes before that...I even had a track with him and Trey Songz but had no idea he was on it

Who the hell is "they"? :what: Every rapper who drops anything of quality gets hyped up as "the next king" by magazines and shyt. The ones who actually make dope and catchy music are the ones who succeed in doing that. The reason everybody wants Drake on their track is cause it's gonna be a guaranteed hit...whether he's doing the hook, dropping a verse, or both. Wayne said it himself "and we gone be alright if we put Drake on every hook" and it's fukkin true! The nikka just has a knack for making shyt sound good.

I like Drake's music back when he first started getting recognition and I don't listen to the radio or watch music tv. I became a fan strictly off the basis of the music he put out. You're overly concerned with all these ppl who jumped on his album or asking him for a feature while I'm worried that it's actually hampering his own music. I felt he messed up Thank Me Later by worrying about features, and having all these performers on there that he was outperformed on every track. He should've just focused on making his music.

I don't get caught up in the hype or the the hate...Drake's success was something anybody could've predicted if you listened to his music.

if this were the case, then he wouldve lived up to the hype and his music would be alot more well-received.

word to the wise, get out of your bubble and pay attention to whats going on around you.

Not hating on nelly but KRS ONE was right.

When you're number one, everybody come
But when you drop to two everybody still with you
But when you drop to three everybody want to see
But when you drop to four everybody still endures
But when you drop to five people will help you strive
When you drop to six you still in every mix
But when you drop to seven people start guessin
When you drop to eight people hesitate
But when you drop to nine thats when you start to find
That when you drop to ten you start to lose your friends
When you drop to eleven your record stop sellin
When you drop to twelve it's everyone for themselves
So when you drop to thirteen you stop working
When you drop to fourteen no more self esteem
You drop to fifteen cuz you lived and you seen
When you drop to sixteen you now out the scene
When you drop to seventeen you see things you never seen
Like when you drop to eighteen you know what it mean
So drop to nineteen and on then to twenty
At nineteen you lose your honey
At twenty your money to a Playboy bunny
At twenty one things ain't funny
At twenty two you don't know what to do
So you hit twenty three you look for security
So you drop to twenty four no more can you endure
When you drop to twenty five at the bottom you've arrived
When you drop to twenty six you in a old school mix
When you drop to twenty seven until you start steppin
When you drop to twenty eight you start to meditate
When you drop to twenty nine you expand your mind
When you drop to thirty you see it was all dirty
No you drop to thirty two and it occurs to you
When you hit thirty three now you can see
That it's all about skill and a love for the art
Not whose above or whose below in the chart
You got to look in your heart
It's there where you start I and hip hop are never ever ever apart WORD!!

I like nelly tho, he had a good run

I'm not a Drake fan, but it's obvious being apart of YMCMB has changed and watered down his creativity, had he signed with Kanye I think he would have impressed people with his debut.
