I know this is a joke thread but nobody should have THAT much money in a checking or savings account. Your checking should have the money you need for monthly expenses, your savings should have an emergency fund and anything you are saving long term for, and the rest should be in investments.

I remember one going to the ATM to deposit cash, prior customer left their receipt hanging from the machine, I took one look at that paper and it said they had over 23K in their account .
