The UC system hasn't had Affirmative Action for over a decade. The new part is that California voters are voting whether to bring Affirmative Action back.

So a current student would be irrelevant, cause AA doesn't exist for them at all.

But in terms of classification system, I'm pretty sure that counting Arabs and West Asians as White is the same shyt the US Census does and has been standard for decades. And if you are from one of those countries but you're Black, all you have to do it mark "Black" and you get counted as Black. So no one has shown me how this hurts Black folk.

The sole reason it was posted was because that racist wants to create controversy so that Affirmative Action gets blocked again.

They haven't had affirmative action but apparently they still keep a count of the students on campus.

North African arabs have always counted as "White" in official USA documents though.

And there are plenty of arabs in Sudan.

I think it's dumb but it's not just an ignorant error, it's been the system for a while cause there just aren't many racial categories officially.
