imagine kobe fans having to spend summer after summer making excuses for Finals loses :wow:

This is the thing that boogles my mind. I don't remember Kobe fans or the media trying to make excuses for why Kobe lost in 2008 to the Celtics. Nobody was saying he didn't have enough help. That he was going against 3 Hall of Famers with just Pau Gasol (who was owned by KG that series). Nobody was saying the loss didn't count cause Andrew Bynum was out with injury.

All we heard that summer was "Kobe how my ass taste" from Shaq. Nobody made excuses. We just said, we getting ya'll back next year.

LeBron fans are just as p*ssy as their gawd. They're expertise is in trying to make excuses for his failures.

Fax. Dont forget Kobe flexing on Pau during that exhibition game for the 2008 Olympics to toughen him up #leadership

Not according to his and LeBron's peers. Once again, I don't care if you say Kobe doesn't belong in this conversation ACCORDING TO YOU. But stop acting like you are talking from some position of objective fact. According to the guys who have played the game, like Allen Iverson, Tracy McGrady, and Vince Carter. And not just played the game but have competed with Kobe and in many cases very ferociously, that they say he's in the convo. They're the ones that brought Kobe into the conversation the last few weeks when the media was making it just about LeBron vs Jordan.

And this isn't even with me bringing up LeBron's contemporaries like D-Wade and Kevin Durant who both have stated that they have Kobe ranked #1 or #2 all-time alongside Jordan.

Dwyane Wade Calls Kobe Bryant 'Second Best All Time' - Lakers Nation
Kevin Durant says Kobe Bryant is the GOAT (along with Jordan)

You might disagree but according to the NBA players, Kobe is not only in this conversation but he's either #1 or #2 all-time.
We both know that there is no way to objectively put Kobe at the level of players like Jordan or LeBron. That is why you refuse to use the stats, accomplishments, or anything tangible in your own personal rankings and claim it is all based on things that can't be definitively measured.

Outside of that, you hide behind an appeal to authority fallacy that is based on quotes that are often dated and/or have nothing to do with actual rankings.

As guys like Durant and Curry get closer to passing all of the milestones that Kobe is typically exalted for, we are going to be seeing more juelzing and more talk about 81 point games.

You're making the excuse now, you made it in 2008, and you made it every year in between. Take a break.

Kobe wasn't injecting himself in anything that tweet was direct response to his Twitter comments. His fans and lebron fans was arguing making points ....it was out of hand ...

Hence the statement ....

You cocksuckers have no shame which makes sense because apparently Kobe doesn't either. This year's playoffs have exposed Kobe as being just as much of a bytchmade passive aggressive troll as his fans.

The poll is meaningless outside of disproving the "only white boys think Lebron is better than Kobe" lie that the cocksuckers run with.

What excuse have I ever made about Kobe's finals record? I've never tried to say the losses in 2008 or 2004 don't count. I've never tried to argue that the Karl Malone injury in 2004 or the Andrew Bynum injury in 2008 cost the Lakers rings. I'm actually one of the few Kobe fans who will admit that I believe Kobe tried to sabotage the 2004 finals so that Shaq would get traded. If the Lakers win the title that year, its highly likely Jerry Buss tries to bring the whole crew back to try and repeat.

I don't make excuses when it comes to Kobe. I simply state my opinion. And I stand by my views. You might disagree with me but I don't make excuses. My logic and views on Kobe and his game are pretty consistent. I value his skills and ability based on what I saw with my two eyes. All this other stuff is tangential.

If stats and awards given out by the media were dispositive of basketball playing ability, then I might agree with you. But they are not. My eye test is superior to all those metrics. Its why I've been ahead on the curve on many players that those who just follow stats aren't up on. For example, I was the only guy back in 2014 saying Kevin Love was a SCRUB. Now note exactly what I said. I didn't say that he wasn't a top 10 player back then. Nor did I simply say he was not the best PF in the game. No what I did was I called a guy averaging 26ppg and 12rpg (and who was named 2nd team All-NBA twice) a scrub. I did that cause I actually watched the games he played and saw a dude racking up empty stats that couldn't play a lick of defense. Now Bron stans agree with me after seeing their gawd fail with Love as his 2nd option.

If all I did was look "objectively" back in 2014, then the stats and accomplishments would have told me Kevin Love is better than Pau Gasol. Are you ready to argue that Kevin Love (before playing with LeBron) was a better player than Pau Gasol (before he played with Kobe)? Lets not forget that Kobe Bryant won 2 championships with a sidekick worse than Kevin Love

You are not being very slick in listing all of the excuses you claim you're not making.

Kobe/Laker fans regularly brought up the following about that series:

Bynum/Ariza injuries
Leon Powe getting more FTA than Lakers team
Pau was too soft and didn't show up on the road
Out of bounds call changed after review

I heard all of those excuses a lot more than I heard about Kobe's poor shooting. I

All those things can be true. But I ain't never heard a Kobe fan say Kobe's finals record is really 5-1 or 5-0 and try to remove the Ls from his resume.

Bron stans are the ones trying to rewrite Ls off his resume.

Because Kobe never played well in a loss. If Kobe played well in either 2004 or 2008 and the team lost, we would be hearing a lot about it.
