I don't listen to his music but this isn't the first time he's addressed white privilege. Went in depth on it in interviews.Macklemore is the physical manifestation of white privilege. He thinks he's saying something new, but everything he's "rapping" about has already been said. If he really cared about black people and our plight in this white supremacist society he'd put his white privilege to use and actively work against it on the low rather exploiting a platform created by black people and profiting off of it in a way we would never be able to.
Artistically too artsy
