i'm not listening to this shyt.

but..as a cac myself, i'll say Macklemore is what hip-hop gets for accepting a drug addled, racist song making, cross dresser in Eminem.
so now hip-hop has an agenda driven, pandering, terrible and an actual homosexual white rapper begging for acceptance while getting plaudits and rich from it.

why do white rappers all need some goofy gimmick.
i respect someone like G-Eazy who just makes music and gets on with it way more than Macklemore.
Em was nice. Brehs gave him a pass for that. He was in battle rap when it was real.
G-Eazy is a plant.

yeah, i've always said he was nice with the pen but thats where its stops for me.
when i see an opportunity to have a dig at him on here i will..i always have.

:manny:

actually i have to credit the timing he came out in too.

take those corny bands like Papa Roach and Limp Bizkit, along with South Park and the WWE attitude era.
now here comes a white rapper sticking his middle finger up to the world..beautiful timing.

whether G-Eazy is a plant or not has no real effect on me..by no means a fan but i don't mind him.

appreciate the effort, the first white privilege song was better.

and if he was really ashamed of the privilege he would have gave the grammy to Kendrick. so basically he just continuing on his pseudo activist rapper steeze to get some more publicity, album must be coming out soon

I had to grit my teeth to even hit play on this considering I've had a deep disdain for dude since he robbed Kendrick and dropped that corny same love record. This song is really good and it will be interesting to see how his fans and the mainstream respond to such a direct honesty about white supremacy.

I've gotta give the man props for this.

Not bad

Interesting to see the support he's getting for this song by people like Tariq Nasheed and Ice T

This is probably the best way a white guy in rap can address white privilege tbh
And I'll say this: He does back it up by attending and supporting rallies, even if he just looks like one of those try hard white social guys and has the same scolding/wagging of the finger/preachy way that people feel kinda find annoying. But overall its better to initiate the conversation in the mainstream that not.
Yeah it'll be annoying when his name comes up in conversations about great rappers who talk about social issues but he's backing it up a lttle

I dont really wanna give the guy anymore props than he has and gets overpraised for a bit of a white savior complex, but he's addressing his own criticisms and the issue of race in America.

So fair enough I guess:ehh:

I think this is a really good song... Good substance.

...More rappers should do it...Why don't more rappers do it?
