if being on national tv is so important, why isn't the NBA talking to COMCAST/NBC/Universal? they offer just as much as disney can as far as getting their product in front of big audiences.
How much Comcast gonna permit go out though??
Lowkey, I can see NBC bowing out of the Olympics. They don’t have the money and resources (networks) to constantly pump Olympic coverage all day and night. I don’t think it’s worth it with the declining ratings and their archaic prime time coverage.

with the news of Smackdown going to USA Network as of Fall 2024, that can't be good news for NBC tryna get NBA games.
Depends, Nick Khan said on Bill Simmons podcast that WBD and Comcast might partner up on a TV package. So that might be a way for NBC to get the games at a lesser price.
