Since when is being a deadbeat encouraged? Deadbeats are disparaged by both genders, no dude praises or looks up to a deadbeat father. The concept of a "stepfather" is not ok in the sense that it pushes the mentality that it doesn't matter if a chick makes bad choices in men and ends up a single mother because there will always be a simp ready to save her. Humans take the path of least resistance, so if a chick knows she won't be penalized for laying with an aint shyt nikka, she will continue to do so. The mentality should be "I should find a partner with strong qualities suited to raising a child the FIRST time, not after I let an aint shyt nikka hit raw because he had swag".

Men and women should be more selective about who they choose to have children with but I can't hate on an adult who chooses to take responsibility and help raise a child. Kids ain't ask to be here and shouldn't have to suffer because their mom or dad ain't shyt.
