MTA sounds as shytty as CTA
How about waiting on a transfer at Nostrand Ave early in the fuccin morning from A to C, and NO ONE else is downstairs on the lowest platform????I felt like I was gonna be on the next Law and Order
Honestly I have no idea how females ride the train dolo in the am or at night.
When I used to take the F back and forth, I always had my head on a swivel on some "I wish a nikka would" shyt. Or you know how you have that "don't look at me, don't talk to me" stare.
Chick's get it the wildest.

The MTA us Fukking up worse than ever right now, what is we gon do brehs?
things i noticed ..
- express trains running local all the time now
- trains dangerously crowded (yes i know ridership is higher than ever)
-stations in CAC areas have heaters but in the hood
-excessive mechanical/ signal related delays
the MTA has automation technology (CBTC used on L train) that will allow them to run more trains but their not implementing it. price keeps going up service getting worse. we need to organize to put some pressure on the MTA, de blasio, cuomo to stop ignoring these issues
yet we havent had a new subway line in how many decades ?
this is my point. their not even trying to keep up with ridership

My pops been driving 7 train for 20 years.
Upper management is corrupt, workers unions are corrupt and mainly the fault lies with the Mayors and Governors both past and present from aiding and abetting the corruption in Albany for almost 100 years now and probably even before that.
The solution for the average everyday dude is to work harder to upgrade your gig to get something to allow for remote working opportunities which is what I am doing.
Something where I'll only have to be in the Office like 3x a week. Get those tech careers man
Man I hate these damn trains. I'm in the middle of closing on a spot in Riverdale. Once that happens, i'm only messing with the Metro North and driving. Trains have been extra packed and slow as of late, plus the slashings and random fights on them shyts don't help at all. @radio rahiem , what line is your train on breh?
you near me breh. I take the 1 every day and sometimes wish I could just hop on the Metro North but I work on the west side so it would be point less. I love the area but sometimes the commute leaves me feeling drained at the end of the night. I been up here like 7 years and just tolerate the long commute. But there are those times when they shut the 1 down for the weekends and "replace" the service with shuttle buses which is the absolute WORSE. I literally just take a fukkin Uber into civilization of stay with a chick who lives in the city.Weekends in CT >>>>>>you near me breh. 1 train would be GOAT if it went express
new hudson yards project is lit thoughwild shyt is that I'm born/raised here and NEVER remembered the service being this shytty. It costs more, there are more riders yet the quality is down like a motherfukker. I remember back in the day the trains were fast as fukk and that was it. You didn't have this insane amount of homeless people begging/sleeping on the trains and it wasn't always insanely crowded in the late hours. I leave work at damn near midnight from Times Square and wonder where the fukk all these people are coming from. It's not like theres sooooooooo much shyt popping off in Times Sq at night that the station should be crowded.
Then you have these insanely slow express trains that have the local trains flying by them
and then theres ALWAYS these fukkboy track workers in the tunnels doing lord knows what so the trains move extra slow so they don't get their asses killed. If repairs need to be made, close a single line of stations down for like 5 months and get it all down at once and have people find alternate routes. I live on the 1 line and the stations at 168th and 181st have been under repair for like 3 fukkING YEARS because of those ceiling collapses. I see workers in the stations and no progress. 181st especially is gross as fukk and is basically a homeless shelter now.
All this $$$$ coming in and its like the MTA is basically a racket at this point. Like real talk the ONLY real think these fukkers have gotten done in the last 5 years is the Hudson Yards station (to nowhere) and even then, it was just 1 fukkin station. How about extending the damn 7 to Hoboken so New Yorkers can go and fukk up New Jersey on the weekends. Second Ave Subway will be finished in like 15 years and that East Side access shyt will be finished after we're all dead.
new hudson yards project is lit though
