Me, myself and I
and another thing is how fukked all the homeless are. They stink and are everywhere

it also bugs me to see so many beggars, and young black dancers on the god damn q train.
I only see them on the weekend, but I avoid trains as much as possible. Too crowded, the kids are swinging from the poles. I'm always scared that I'll get kicked in the face one day. The musicians, the beggars, the preachers.... It's too much when all I want to do is get to my destination.

Fam I could believe that the whole shyt is corrupt and the workers union is on some gestapo shyt if you try and cross them.

I really envision a time when I am gonna move into an area like Harlem and just ride a bike to work straight down the west side highway path. Even tho the train would be quicker, I wouldnt mind saving the $$ and just use the train on days when I'm going out to party. And even when I do go out, I use Uber all the damn time

I met a lot of people when I was networking heavy around 2011-2012 that said they didn't take trains at all. At the time I was like :dwillhuh: how is that even possible? But then I realized they had very limited places they go, probably get freshdirect and everything Amazon. I think those online services and delivery have gotten better (less "Sorry we missed you" bullshyt from the Post Office at least in my area) and better communications on package status and logistics. So now 4 years later I'm like yeah you can totally not go shopping at all at a physical location except in your neighborhood and just do a straight line to work and back.

But biking is hella dangerous in this city and I would never fukkin do it ever. West Side highway aiight but what if something happen and you can't bike that route for a month like inclement weather or some kind of barricade. One of my walking routes got cut off down near Hudson yards so now I gotta walk down 34th near the bolt bus terminals and shyt :beli: until they finish plowing the snow. So you can't really rely on one particular route in this city it's subject to get shut down at any time for any reason

R Trains were straight. On time and weren't crowded at all for me.

It's been that way the past few weeks or so HOWEVER, shyt was running terribly right after they completed Sandy construction and opened it back up to Manhattan.

A lake near Tampa FL
But it doesn't even exist
Its under construction right now....

The building on the right hand side is almost finished, the one with the Triangle sticking out of it is like 5 or 6 floors above the street..

Having the subway there would help attract tenants for those office buildings.

When Van Cortlandt on the 1 was first built there wasn't nothing around either..

Same goes for the 7 line on Queens Blvd...

The World, but from BK
:lupe: you near me breh. I take the 1 every day and sometimes wish I could just hop on the Metro North but I work on the west side so it would be point less. I love the area but sometimes the commute leaves me feeling drained at the end of the night. I been up here like 7 years and just tolerate the long commute. But there are those times when they shut the 1 down for the weekends and "replace" the service with shuttle buses which is the absolute WORSE. I literally just take a fukkin Uber into civilization of stay with a chick who lives in the city.

I'm still in bk at the moment but me and my girl both drive. So I'm prepared to pretty much to drive out to places on the weekend and just do the metro north for work. The building has a shuttle for residents to the metro north during rush hours.

You aint lying. There is homeless folk everywhere now. Near the 9th avenue station there is a park near there that is filled with homeless folk. The park has become a drug haven too and the NYPD is nearby and aint doing nothing about it lol. Another is when a train comes and you see people in a train car all on bunched on one side you already know what it is. A smelly homeless person is stinking it up the place. shyt is annoying yo.
