They didn't start their career with a lame duck coach like Matt Eberflus. They'e had 1 coach their entire career. It's pointless to just just compare players like that with no context.

Drew Brees didn't really hit his stride until year 6.

Peyton Manning wasn't even great statistically year 2. He had 26 TDs to 15 INTs.

Caleb is showing enough flashes in a new system to be encouraged. They had 6 drops today so his numbers should have been much better.

Are Lamar and Patrick good examples? They both got stability(HC/Team) with their respective organizations that Caleb hasnt gotten with the bears. Would Patrick/Lamar have those year 2s with the Browns?

Hell nah they wouldn't have done any of that with the browns. That's why I say it's easier to just call the player ass immediately because chances are things aren't going to work out for you going number 1 to a trash organization.
