I feel you, but SF has gone through a LOT of QBs in Kyle's tenure. I think Purdy's the best of that group, but there's enough of a track record here that suggests you don't have to be a franchise QB-level talent to produce in that system.

We need to win a Super Bowl. Purdy out of all the QBs we have gives us the best chance to do that. Kyle isn't the genius people make him out to be, Brock Purdy is the only QB who has on multiple occasions saved Kyle from himself.

Remember years back when I said Cleveland owed Baker Mayfield an apology for the way they treated him on the way out. Success is the best revenge it seems because what he pulled off was nothing short of impressive.

CJ didn't play well last night and I wonder if he is just a one year wonder but we also need to start questioning DaMeco Ryan as a head coach. There is this general lack of discipline that lead to costly mistakes and unnecessary penalties.

Geno Smith completely melted down last night. He was trying to make plays in part out of desperation because they were down but had he played within himself maybe they have a fighting chance. It doesn't help that the coaching staff has concepts that were dated 10 years ago.

This game was classic Jim Harbaugh. Greg Roman is conservative coordinator but a QB like Herbert can produce big plays at any point and they run the ball often keeping things manageable.

Harbaugh is one of the best culture-builder coaches. Made Stanford relevant, took the 49ers to the SB, built a winner in Michigan, and you can see the team he's building in LA and how hard the team plays for him. They're gonna be in the SB sooner or later.

Mayfield, D. Jones, Goff, and Geno (even though he didn't play well last night) are examples of what good coaching can do for QBs.

If and when Mike McDaniel gets fired, he should be on top of every team's OC wish list. Even though the Phins are 0-2, you can see how creative his play designs are.

Why do people forget/ignore Baker Mayfield was a number one overall pick? He turned his career around after Cleveland. Good for him.

I won’t blame Pete for taking the money but the raiders job is terrible short term and long term.

You have far and away the worst roster in your division and no franchise qb. There are two top 10 guys in your division who will be playing at least another 5-7 years. You could draft a really good guy and he will never be as good as Herbert or Mahomes.

Also there’s 3 other HOF level HCs in that division.
