Not necessarily. A new vision/voice could be what they need. Noll is what they needed in 1969. Cowher is what they needed in 1992. Tomlin is what they needed in 2007. Tomlin's extension is up after next season. A divorce after next season could be mutually beneficial for both parties.
I can see that, but finding coaches who can consistently make shyt look like sugar is a rare commodity. Especially for a team that doesn't like to spend.
