You mean when the chiefs were struggling and losing to everybody? Trust Taylor is a beast but he isn't more deserving of MVP than Rodgers, and this is coming from someone who pretty much hates dude. But QB is the toughest position in the league and dude is leading the best team with amazing stats, while making it look easy.
It’s amazing how many opportunities Drew Lock and Mason Rudolph have had to show that they can be the QB of the future for their perspective teams, yet they still look as lost as they did when they first entered the league.

He chasing Calvin Johnson's record in a season where Calvin didn't win the MVP. Kupp is force feed like a mafukka. Yeah he nice but you gotta be

Calvin didn't win MVP because Detroit went 4-12. The Rams are 11-4. I'm sure if Detroit was 10-6 or whatever, he'd have gotten MVP consideration despite only scoring 5 touchdowns. Besides, 2012 was the year Adrian Peterson carried Minnesota to the playoffs with 2000 rushing yards the year AfTER he ripped his knee to shreds.
Kupp is getting targets at an astronomical rate. Taylor's case is stronger than his, but if Kupp breaks Michael Thomas' catch record -- CMC was robbed of OPOY the year Thomas won it, but that's a different convo -- AND clears Megatron's yardage record... that is hard to ignore.

My point is the Packers are the best team in the league and their quarterback is putting up amazing numbers. Taylor is number 2 in the race imo because tbh RB isn't the most difficult position and they are probably the most expendable position in the league. Kupp is a beast but as you said, his numbers are being intentionally inflated. How many quick tosses on reverse plays or quick outs until some of ya'll realize it? He isn't more athletic then any of the receivers on that team but they give him the plays that should go to the more athletic receivers. Maybe the most blatant stat padding effort I've seen for a WR and I think we know why.
I'm pretty sure he is going to break the NFL record for number of targets through 16 games easily.
