can anyone explain the nfl BENEFIT of this???????![]()
The NFL doesnt want to screw up their partnership with Twitter....Twitter is streaming games and this maybe the new wave for watching games online moving forward
can anyone explain the nfl BENEFIT of this???????![]()

Big fish eat little fish....sharks eat big fish....whales eat sharks.....then the whales eat themselves.....

i just dont understand why they included highlights and gifs in this

Gifs aren't taking away views, ain't nobody posted on Twitter/IG etc waiting for game gifs instead of watching the game. If anything, seeing a crazy gif of a game that's currently on has made me check for that game to see if anything else is happeningthey want everything to run thru NFL.com
and gifs/highlights take away views/ratings, which takes away money

.If you honestly think a gif is taking away views from the game or a click to their website you're just as misinformed as them. Even if team social media accounts don't post them, SB nation, bleacher report, and millions of individuals will. This helps nothingthat's you.
Their logic is, if people see a gif/twitter vid, then that's a click/view that could've been garnered money for the NFL, but didn't. I didn't care to see Falcons/Panthers, I just looked at a twitter vid of Julio Jones catches.
