this is nonsense

Im a Kobe fan, im not a stan like a lot of brehs on here.

Kobe was the best player in the NBA for a few years in his career. I agree about Lebron being the best player in 2007-08, but from 2005-2007, Kobe was the best.

And then he, Shaq, and Duncan alternated that crown from 2000-2004. They all werent the best for a season, but they were the best for a period during that time frame.

The trend I'm noticing now is a lot of revisionist history from people. It's as if people only do numbers watching or flat out hated the way he played/who he was and make his career seem as though it was some ball hog that caught some dumb luck and became successful. You'd think Kobe was Melo the way some people speak on him now.

:ehh:

Dirk probably belongs in here once or twice but I won't debate this

Kobe was the best basketball player in the NBA from 2001-2009

:yeshrug:

Over that span.

5 rings
1 gold medal
Over 20 50 point games
Over 100 40 point games
3-1 against Duncan and the spurs

How do y'all define best?

Stat padding MVPs?
:mjlol: Kobe wasn't even the best player on his team until the 2004-05 season
