I generally hate Kobe but this isn't really true. He was probably the best overall player in the league for like 2 seasons from 2007-2009 after Duncan's prime ended and before Bron took over, although its certainly debateable if he even was then. Wade even has a case for that time period

2009 was wade, period.

Nobody has been singularly better than wade in that season since then.

The trend I'm noticing now is a lot of revisionist history from people. It's as if people only do numbers watching or flat out hated the way he played/who he was and make his career seem as though it was some ball hog that caught some dumb luck and became successful. You'd think Kobe was Melo the way some people speak on him now.

The collective you are fabricating a lie about Melo.
that is easily debunked as ny media making false narratives.

Kobe averaged 39 against Wade in 09

And Won the ring that year.

How was Wade better?

You can not be serious.
As Kobe got to score 39 with a higher pedigreed team, roster that included a double post dominant big attack above any in the league at the time and it began with a center before injury who was doing three sixty double fisted alley oops.
Including at the time, coaching that fullfilled its love for a double low post seven foot threat as well.

So, no Kobe regardless of total points head to head does not tell the full story and again....
Wade was the best player that year and one of the years people can complain about Kobe being snubbed for Nash.
Just like wade was snubbed for bron.

I think we gotta find some common ground mates.

If we talking best in terms of stats then sure... if we talking best in terms of skill Kobe has been the best player in the League since 2001 :yeshrug:
